What do I need to say?
As part of the previous non-statutory consultation, many of you sent in your personal feedback on what the proposed developments in Martin Savage Park would mean to you, your family and the wider community. We need you to do this again. Please personalise your feedback to make it meaningful and impactful.
We ask that you take time to read some of the reports on the proposed development which address previous general concerns and you send in your feedback supporting the proposed development. It may be easier to first create your letter in MS Word and copy it into the feedback portal.
As a GAA club, we have campaigned over the last four years for improved facilities on a par with other facilities managed by Dublin City Council. Among these improved facilities are:
- A floodlit all-weather pitch measuring 130x70m capable of playing juvenile GAA games;
- Floodlit GAA pitch with improved drainage and a sand-based surface to allow for improved playability throughout the year;
- A perimeter pathway round the grass pitches – this will be an approximate 1km loop;
- New pathway lighting for the main pathway from along the rail line;
- A children’s playground with swings, slides and climbing equipment;
- A community garden and additional park seating plus new tree planting to replace some trees displaced in construction
We have compiled a page of additional information that can be used in your submission, and sample text. Facts about the club, the condition of MSP. and the DCC Reports can be found here.
